Job summary

General Dynamics Information Systems (GDIT) seeks an Information Assurance Security Engineer to support a sensitive intelligence program. The role emphasizes policy drafting, accreditation, incident response, and RMF compliance across multiple agencies. You will work with IAM, ICD 503 standards, and cloud-based security in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements include U.S. citizenship, Top Secret/SCI clearance or higher, and experience with security tools and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in information security
• US Citizenship required
• IAM II certification or equivalent required to start under DoD 8570.1M
• Familiarity with ICD 503 and RMF processes
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure/AWS-based solutions

Responsibilities

• Write information security policy drafts and review MOAs
• Coordinate and manage Certification and Accreditation
• Advise on system design/architecture for information security
• Perform incident response, log reviews, and security investigations
• Maintain and enforce IA policies and procedures
• Support network security operations including firewalls and gateways
• Conduct security training and awareness for users
• Review POA&Ms and remediate vulnerabilities
