Job summary

GDIT is seeking a highly experienced cybersecurity professional to support the US BICES-X program. You will perform IA activities, coordinate with government partners, and drive vulnerability assessments across diverse platforms to strengthen mission security.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoD RMF expertise, and the ability to lead security engineering efforts in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment at Andrews AFB.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related cybersecurity experience.
• Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01M requirements for IAT Level II (e.g., CASP CE).
• Understanding of DoD RMF (800-53 Rev 4 and Rev 5) and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs Cybersecurity activities for a large Program and coordinates with government staff to direct and audit program policy and procedures.
• Conducts network and system audits for vulnerabilities and mitigates findings across Windows, Linux, Cisco, Juniper, and VMware environments.
• Create, track and review Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and support remediation efforts.
• Communicate threat information to leadership to support cyber risk decisions and mitigation.
• Maintain RMF accreditation status and documentation for multiple DoD networks and systems.
• Evaluate firewall change requests and provide guidance on vulnerability countermeasures.
• Lead and mentor less-experienced technical staff and stay updated on relevant technologies.
