From our southern NH campus, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Senior Principal Electrical Engineer. You will join an Agile team at a dynamic company that values technical excellence. The selected candidate will apply their design skills to support our "Design it Right" initiative for complex defense products and technologies. This role offers the chance to acquire product knowledge, enhance technical skills, and work on innovative projects in a hybrid work setting.

The responsibilities for this senior engineering role include:

  1. The Senior Principal Hardware Test Engineer will collaborate with Hardware Design engineers to design, develop, and deploy test solutions, including Test Stations and Integrated Test Adapters (ITAs). The designs will span various technologies and approaches, offering engaging career opportunities.
  2. This position involves engaging in early program activities such as strategy, Design For Testability (DFT), hardware design, integration, debugging, verification, validation, and support.
  3. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives with peers and operations teams to refine test development practices, including standard architectures, reuse, DFT, and tools.

You should be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment, and techniques, and capable of working effectively in a small team environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with test product development and electronics equipment support
  • Eligibility for DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with RF test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and testing methodologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience developing embedded systems for harsh environments
  • Ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
  • Familiarity with electrical design, schematic tools
  • Experience with test software development and integration
  • Proficiency in writing test code for digital, RF, or optical testing
  • Experience with PCB design using Cadence tools
  • Experience with NI LabWindows and TestStand
  • Experience with factory test stands and problem resolution
  • Familiarity with AS9145 processes
  • Experience with FPGA designs
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare or high power RF SDR hardware
  • Knowledge of memory interfaces (DDR, QSPI)
  • Knowledge of data transfer protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, JESD 204, I2C, JTAG)
  • Fundamentals of digital/analog/power/mixed-signal electronics
  • Active DOD security clearance

Pay Range

Full-Time Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603

Note: Salaries depend on various factors, including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
