Lead RF Test Engineer

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Lead Test Engineer responsible for supervising and supporting manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies and laws. The candidate will motivate, coach, and develop employees, promote employee relations, and work to prioritize product delivery to meet customer satisfaction and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate as the Technical SME for Test Automation and Performance Test Engineers, focusing on strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of testing capabilities.
  2. Develop, monitor, and maintain department metrics.
  3. Coordinate with project leads and management to resolve issues and manage resources.
  4. Analyze and resolve work problems, collaborating with team members.
  5. Manage test engineers involved in design testing and new product introductions.
  6. Provide technical and managerial leadership to improve test yield, reduce testing time, increase capacity, and eliminate false failures.
  7. Offer troubleshooting insights on complex RF and digital circuit assemblies.
  8. Manage test and support equipment, ensuring on-time delivery.
  9. Coordinate with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
  10. Plan workforce and equipment utilization, space, and workflow.
  11. Recommend improvements in test methods, performance, and quality.
  12. Interface with contract manufacturers regarding ATP and RCCA processes.
  13. Review and approve test plans and procedures.
  14. Utilize MES and ERP systems.
  15. Interview, hire, train, and mentor personnel.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or 4 years of related experience/training; or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience testing with Keysight E8257D-520-1E1, EXA N9010B, VNA P9375A, PXA N9032B, Oscilloscope (MSOX6004A), or similar equipment.
  • Experience with test equipment and RF testing.
  • Ability to interpret test specifications, drawings, plans, and procedures.
  • Experience debugging complex digital/RF PCBA designs.
  • Proficiency in writing reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats.

Pay Range:

The salary range is $105,100 - $231,100 USD, influenced by various factors including location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, education, and time off. Learn more here.
