Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Principal, Principal Gifts to lead a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and foundations, securing $5M+ gifts. This role partners with ACS leadership and volunteers to align donor strategies with mission priorities.

You will develop cases for support, proposals, and stewardship plans, engage senior leadership, and track performance with donor management systems, traveling as needed to cultivate relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
CFRE certification preferred.
10+ years in fundraising with a track record closing 7- and 8-figure gifts.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 15-20 high-net-worth individuals and foundations for gifts $5M+.
Collaborate with ACS leadership and enterprise teams to align donor strategy.
Develop principal giving materials, cases for support, proposals, and stewardship plans.
Engage senior leadership and volunteers to strengthen donor relationships.
Track KPIs using donor management systems and coordinate across functions.
