Job summary
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Maryland is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal EW Systems Engineer for Linthicum/Baltimore campus. You will lead RF sensor development, test planning, data analysis, and mentorship of junior engineers to advance SEWIP program capabilities.
On-site work and an interim/secret clearance are required. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across RF, software, and hardware domains to design, verify, and document EW system integration and testing, driving
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with relevant experience.
- 3+ years in EW or Radar systems design/integration/testing.
- 2+ years in EW/Radar data analysis.
- Experience with HWIL/SWIL test benches and data tooling.
- US Citizenship and Interim Secret clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Develop RF test plans, setups, and procedures for complex RF environments.
- Design HWIL/SWIL test bench experiments and reproduce results.
- Coordinate RF data collection across SSIL, SIL, and remote facilities.
- Troubleshoot test setups and perform RCA.
- Document results, present findings to senior leaders and customers.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and support backlog refinement.
