Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join their team in Linthicum, MD. This role involves leading the technical execution of R&D programs focused on advancing electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) sensing technologies. You will guide and mentor a team, while developing cutting-edge algorithms to meet mission requirements.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with airborne or space-based EO/IR sensors, as well as strong leadership skills. A current U.S. Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain Special Program Access are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Current U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Responsibilities

• Guide a diverse team in developing EOIR sensor capabilities.
