Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior program manager for radar system hardware development in Massachusetts. You will oversee scope, budget, and schedule, integrating sub-products into a complete Radar Set product, and lead a cross-functional team across Engineering, Operations, IS, and Quality to deliver on customer schedules.

Successful candidates will have a STEM degree and 10+ years of experience (or a related advanced degree with 7+ years), including 8+ years in mechanical design and proven EVMS

• Integrate the sub-products into a complete Radar Set product
• Lead a cross-functional team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality through hardware development and production
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience implementing EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management
• Manage design completion while balancing performance with the ability to meet customers' critical schedule requirements
• Review program status tracking with Engineering and Program Leadership

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mechanical design
• Experience leading and participating in design, development and production activities
• Experience preparing both technical and cost proposals
• Experience with earned value management and other program management skills
• Experience presenting challenging technical issues to senior leadership
