Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior program manager for radar system hardware development in Massachusetts. You will oversee scope, budget, and schedule, integrating sub-products into a complete Radar Set product, and lead a cross-functional team across Engineering, Operations, IS, and Quality to deliver on customer schedules.

Successful candidates will have a STEM degree and 10+ years of experience (or a related advanced degree with 7+ years), including 8+ years in mechanical design and proven EVMS

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM.
• 10+ years of experience or advanced degree with 7+ years experience.
• At least 8 years in mechanical design.
• Experience leading design, development and production activities.
• Experience preparing technical and cost proposals.
• Experience with earned value management and program management skills.
• Experience presenting technical issues to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scope, budget, and schedule for the overall development of the system.
• Integrate sub-products into a complete Radar Set product.
• Lead cross-functional team including Engineering, Operations, IS, and Quality through hardware development and production.
• Demonstrate knowledge of EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management.
• Manage design completion while balancing performance with customers' critical schedule requirements.
• Review program status tracking with Engineering and Program Leadership.
