Job summary
Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Sr Principal Software Engineer for the Prisma AIRS Runtime Security team in California.

Qualifications
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go.
- Proven enterprise microservices experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional with Product Management, SRE, ML, and QA to deliver enterprise security services on time.
- Translate product vision into resilient backend architectures across system boundaries.
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, reduce latency, and scale resources.
- Promote modern engineering practices and spec-driven development.
- Lead architecture of large-scale systems with model serving infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence.
