Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a senior-level scientist/engineer to lead strategic analysis of variation in carbon–carbon production. You will develop nondestructive evaluation methods and present findings to senior leadership.

Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and R&D to implement improvements and align with key sites in Spokane and Santa Fe Springs. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for access to the program information.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic analysis of process and product variation across carbon–carbon production areas to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop new nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods for carbon–carbon materials and brake disk inspection.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, EH&S, Engineering, and R&D to align insights and corrective actions.
• Present risks and strategic recommendations to senior leadership in clear terms.
• Coordinate with Spokane and Santa Fe Springs teams to maintain consistency in processes and technologies.
