Job summary

United Cleanup Oak Ridge, LLC is seeking a Y-12 D&D Project Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN. The role involves preparing engineering products such as calculations, specifications, scopes of work, analyses, designs and design changes, and engineering reports in the discipline.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in an appropriate engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering products such as: calculations, specifications, scopes of work, analyses, designs and design changes, and engineering reports within the discipline.
• May be assigned as Project Engineer, Discipline Engineer, System Engineer, or Cognizant System Engineer.
• Follows procedures in the development of engineering products.
• May develop engineering products and provide expertise in the engineering discipline commensurate with grade level.
• May provide technical support in the areas of operations, maintenance, inspections and tests, and configuration management for assigned systems and components.
• Maintains timely and accurate oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.
• Keeps proper engineering files andrecords.
• Applies industry codes and standards in development of engineering products commensurate with grade level.
• Understands and uses computer software and applications associated with engineering assignments.
• Complies with company’s safety awareness program, officeand/or field safety policies.
• Develops an understanding of therole ofeach functional area within the company.
• Conforms to company core values.
• Acts with integrity in all elements of responsibility.
• Expresses ideas clearly and listens effectively to the ideas of others.
