Job summary

United Cleanup Oak Ridge, LLC is hiring a NGF SAL FT Professional for our Oak Ridge, TN site. You will support project teams by developing engineering calculations, specifications, scopes of work and design changes within their discipline while ensuring alignment with UCOR and OREM goals.

Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear or Environmental Engineering, 4+ years of engineering experience and a Professional Engineer license preferred; DOE-regulated environment experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Environmental or related Engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of engineering experience; Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Experience in a DOE-regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strategic alignment with UCOR’s and OREM’s goals.
• Assist in developing engineering products such as calculations, specifications, scopes of work, analyses, designs and design changes.
• Follow procedures in execution of day-to-day activities and maintain configuration management knowledge.
• Coordinate with Engineering Supervisors to ensure projects are scoped correctly and resources allocated.
• Maintain timely oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.
• Identify, review and coordinate subcontractor/supplier submittals.
