Job summary

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to lead the Engineering Department's consultant services programs. This role oversees planning, administration, and delivery of professional services supporting the Agency's Capital Plan and operations from our Jersey City office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of contract procurement and administration experience.
• Experience managing contracts or consultant services valued at $1M+.
• Experience with enterprise systems like SAP/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of consultant services agreements and task orders.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, funding amounts, and procurement requirements.
• Review agreements, award letters, purchase orders, amendments and related documents.
• Develop reports and performance metrics for executives and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team responsible for program administration.
