Job summary

MediaTek seeks a Sr Staff / Principal Application Engineer for system software in San Jose, CA. You will bring up platform boards, verify major functions, and manage software releases while guiding multi-branch conflicts and debugging alongside customer engineers.

You will partner with project managers to deliver robust software solutions, focusing on embedded OSs and SoC architecture, with strong C/C++ and hands-on debugging capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of C/C++ programming experience and SoC system software development experience.
• Experience with embedded operating systems (Linux, Android, Yocto, or RTOS).

Responsibilities
