Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer in Warner Robins, GA, to join the IMS Software Engineering Team. You will modernize, sustain, and verify Embedded EW and Radar Flight Programs within a multidisciplinary group.

Ideal candidates have strong C/C++/Ada, solid lifecycle process knowledge, and excellent communication. Relocation assistance may be available and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline is required.
• Experience with embedded software lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or similar OO languages.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Current DoD Secret level clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded flight programs and simulations.
• Lead in software development lifecycle activities from design to testing.
• Provide leadership on complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with PMs, suppliers and government customers.
• Contribute to integration, verification, and maintenance of software.
