Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Warner Robins, GA to design, develop and validate embedded flight software for weapon systems. The role requires on-site work daily and collaboration with a cross-functional team in IMS/WIMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS/EE/CE or equivalent STEM degree.
• 2+ years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree; 0 with Masters; 0 with PhD.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or other Object-Oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency in all areas of the formal software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to operate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs and related applications.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle from requirements to testing.
• Provide leadership in solving complex problems.
• Interact with Program Management, external suppliers and government customers; strong communication needed.
• This position may be filled at Engineer Embedded Software or Principal Engineer Embedded Software level.
