Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer to join our Oklahoma City, OK or Melbourne, FL team. You will lead engineering efforts across design, requirements, testing, and integration for complex electro-mechanical systems.
The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, systems engineering across the full lifecycle, and strong communication with leadership and customers. Clearance eligibility and on-site work in OKC are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline required.
- Experience with aerospace systems and DoD/air force standards preferred.
- Clearance: Secret; ability to obtain and maintain required clearances.
Responsibilities
- Analyze tooling/support equipment and recommend solutions for re-work or alternatives.
- Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research and development.
- Lead technical efforts and work with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
- Generate reports and present to Government counterparts and contractors.
