Job summary

Johnson Controls' R&D facility in Westford, MA seeks a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to design analog and digital hardware for fire alarm products. You will lead embedded systems, power, and sensor circuits, mentor engineers, and drive projects from concept to manufacturing with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of electronics design experience including analog, power, audio or embedded systems.
• Experience leading hardware product development and collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital electronics, including embedded systems, for new fire alarm products.
• Lead hardware development projects, manage cost, schedule and design execution.
• Collaborate with product management to define requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
