Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal Electrical / Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT.

The role requires a Secret clearance and focuses on electrical architecture, cable design, and system integration across multiple facilities. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop PDPs/ADPs, review engineering deliverables, and ensure successful program milestones in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM bachelor’s degree with experience; advanced degrees count toward experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance and SAP approval.
• Experience with electrical architecture, cable/harness design, and system integration.
• Familiarity with industry/military standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground design of electrical components for Sentinel weapon system facilities.
• Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
• Develop PDPs/ADPs and guide them through review and release.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets, and trade studies.
• Perform electrical analysis and cable sizing calculations.
