Enercon is hiring Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineers for our Nuclear Design Group. You will develop electrical designs, collaborate across engineering teams, and mentor junior engineers.

The role supports diverse projects, including power generation and government contracts, with occasional field travel. The position requires a bachelor's in EE, 6–10+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 years of electrical design experience for Senior level; 10+ years for Principal level.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Strong written/presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Approximate travel around 10%.

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs.
• Shape project success by developing design studies, scopes, and accurate estimates.
• Lead procurement and installation activities by drafting specs and evaluating bids.
• Perform precision electrical calculations underpinning designs and installations.
• Think creatively to apply innovative solutions to challenging problems.
• Travel to project sites, supervise installations, and support startup activities.
