Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineers for its Nuclear Design Group in the United States. You will advance design studies, perform calculations, and mentor junior engineers across multiple projects, including power generation and DOE-related work.

Role involves travel up to 10%, collaboration across disciplines, and leadership in technical execution within a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship is required for federal contracting.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years designing electrical systems (HV, switchgear, motor controls) for Senior level, 10+ years for Principal
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects
• PE preferred
• Writing, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements
• Approximate travel of 10% as needed
