Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Senior Principal Engineer for the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department. The role leads digital design efforts, overseeing architecture, requirements, integration, and test while mentoring peers and collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree, 10+ years in analog/digital/power electronics, and an active Secret clearance. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Ten years of experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support; decompose high-level requirements.
Experience in digital sub-systems, systems engineering, and requirement development/validation; CCA design and testing.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience is preferred.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems with FPGA focus.
Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight.
Support component-level design and test reviews.
Mentor and be mentored within our engineering culture.
Collaborate with functional and program management, customers, and suppliers.
Travel ~25% may be required.
Guide a team through hardware systems lifecycle phases and reviews.
