Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to head a team of engineers on complex defense programs. You will ensure timely, on-budget delivery while guaranteeing design compliance with project specifications. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Ability to lead multiple engineering disciplines.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cross‑functional engineers to accomplish assigned projects.
• Lead all engineering efforts for a project or projects on time and budget.
• Review customer specifications and requirements to ensure design and development is compliant.
• Monitor and provide budget, cost, and schedule status for assigned projects.
• Communicate clearly (written and oral) with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with program management and participate in the preparation of project proposals.
• Coordinate closely with engineering management to appropriately resource assigned projects.
• Work with technicians, support personnel, and others to align technical activities and progress.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
