Job summary

Oracle US seeks a data systems software architect to shape product architecture and velocity across multiple product areas. You will define scalable patterns for microservices, data modeling (including spatial/graph), and performance engineering while applying in-database analytics and machine learning to differentiate value and reduce latency.

You will set service-level objectives and enforce them via testing and observability, and lead post-release analyses to connect features to revenue,

• Experience shaping product architecture and velocity across multiple product areas.
• Ability to define scalable patterns for microservices and data modeling.
• Experience applying in-database analytics and ML to reduce latency.
• Experience setting service-level objectives and enforcing them via testing and observability.
• Ability to lead post-release analyses tying features to revenue and retention.

Responsibilities

• Set product-wide patterns for microservices and data modeling to accelerate feature delivery.
• Integrate in-database analytics and machine learning for personalization and fraud detection.
• Define service-level objectives and enforce them via performance gates and telemetry.
• Architect existing and new services and guide cross-team implementations.
• Lead design reviews and ensure high quality through testing and observability.
• Drive optimization of performance, reliability, and scalability across products.
