Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to support US BICES-X operations. The role focuses on information assurance, RMF implementation, and DoD policy adherence across multiple networks and platforms within a dispersed, mission-focused team.

The candidate will coordinate with USAF and other agencies, perform vulnerability assessments, and guide remediation efforts while maintaining strict clearance and security posture."

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
• Must meet DoW 8570.01M requirements for IAT Level II (e.g. CASP CE).
• Requires understanding of DOW RMF (800-53 Rev 4 and Rev 5).
• Requires understanding of DoW policies and procedures, including FIPS 199, FIPS 200, NIST 800-53.

Responsibilities

• Performs Cybersecurity activities for a large Program; coordinates with government staff to assist in policy, standards, and procedures.
• Utilizes resources to conduct Cybersecurity activities and reports on overall program security posture.
• Conducts network and system audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs, DISA SCAP, ACAS and other tools.
• Creates, tracks and reviews Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and identifies solutions.
• Communicates threat information to Government leaders to assist in cyber risk decisions.
• Carries out RMF accreditation activities and security testing per DoW requirements.
• Maintains Security Accreditation status and documentation for DoW networks.
• Coordinates with AFRL/USAF on audits and inspections; provides necessary documentation.
• Evaluates firewall change requests and assesses organizational risk.
• Provides guidance on vulnerability countermeasures or mitigation of non-compliant controls.
• Ensures integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by enforcing security policies.
• Performs periodic system audits and vulnerability assessments and provides guidance to staff.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and participates in special projects.
