Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Manager 2 Cyber Systems Engineering to lead a team of cyber engineers, develop talent, and ensure alignment with program needs. This on-site role is based in Melbourne, FL, requiring a Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.

The position emphasizes a strong leadership culture, collaboration with program management, and adherence to NG processes. The role includes budgeting, staffing, and overseeing multi-program support while delivering secure, compliant cyber solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Current in-scope U.S. Government Secret security clearance or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation program; SAP clearance required.
• Proven people leadership experience, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Experience leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with cyber systems engineering and/or system administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cyber systems engineers with day-to-day direction and performance feedback.
• Own performance management for direct reports including goal setting and promotions.
• Drive talent development through training, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Ensure engagement and culture focused on mission and continuous improvement.
• Oversee staffing, budget, and resource allocation across programs.
