Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer for the Woodland Hills, CA area. The role involves implementing RMF, selecting and applying security controls, and collaborating with Agile engineering teams to protect national security systems.

The candidate should demonstrate governance, risk, and compliance experience, and hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater, with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ (Security+).
• Experience implementing and assessing security controls.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53 and related gov standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity tasks to implement RMF and security controls.
• Interface with engineering teams using Agile practices.
• Develop technical documentation and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and NIST guidance.
• Support continuous assessment of IA control compliance.
