Job summary
Baxter is seeking a seasoned manufacturing engineer to support process and automation improvements at a manufacturing site. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Quality to drive performance of production equipment and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Responsibilities include improving control systems, mapping processes, and leading RCA/CAPA activities. Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 8+ years in manufacturing, onsite with minimal travel, plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years in manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with automation, Industry 4.0, Six Sigma, and DFSS.
- Onsite, fulltime role with <10% travel; strong regulatory/safety knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Improve control systems and equipment reliability.
- Map process flows and enable data‑driven decisions.
- Lead or support root‑cause analysis and CAPAs.
- Develop SOPs and work instructions to align with changes.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and guide vendors on complex engineering initiatives.
- Deliver training and provide ongoing technical support to production teams.
