Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal / Sr. Principal Configuration Management Engineer to join our F35 software configuration management team. This position is onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will lead the update and management of CM procedures, prepare configuration management artifacts, and mentor other CM team members. Key responsibilities include authoring and maintaining workflows in Jira, coordinating with GitLab, reviewing contracts for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related engineering experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
- Experience managing, updating, and maintaining software configuration management documentation.
- Experience authoring and maintaining workflows for software CM procedures in Jira.
- Working knowledge of Git and GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance or SAP.
Responsibilities
- Participate in management, update, and maintenance of CM documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Review contracts to determine documentation requirements across software development lifecycle.
- Prepare CM delivery artifacts and support timely software deliveries.
- Author and maintain Jira workflows and integrate with GitLab workflows.
- Prepare for occasional CM audits.
