Job summary

Oracle in the United States (Seattle, WA) seeks a Senior Principal Network Reliability Engineer to lead the design, deployment, reliability, and lifecycle management of Oracle’s global network. You will influence engineering strategy across organizations, define technical direction, establish engineering standards, and lead initiatives that improve scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

Expert knowledge of hyperscale cloud networking or Tier 1 service provider environments.
Deep expertise in routing, transport, optical networking, backbone and large-scale network architecture.
Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP and reliability principles.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for deployment, operation, and lifecycle management of OCI’s global network infrastructure.
Define long-term strategy for network reliability, operational excellence, and scalability.
Lead initiatives supporting AI infrastructure, new OCI Regions, backbone expansion, and large-scale deployments.
Influence architecture and decisions across multiple engineering teams and operations.
Champion automation and establish engineering standards to deliver scalable solutions.
