Job summary
Oracle is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the architecture and evolution of highly scalable distributed systems powering OCI Networking. You will shape routing, workload placement, and fleet lifecycle management at cloud scale with a focus on simplicity and reliability.
You will mentor engineers, drive platform services, and collaborate across OCI organizations to deliver robust cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 10+ years building large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, concurrency.
- Familiarity with network routing protocols; implementation experience is desirable.
- Experience designing and operating scalable, available services in production.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of highly scalable distributed systems powering OCI Networking.
- Drive the technical direction of critical platform services supporting routing, workload placement, and fleet lifecycle management.
- Partner across OCI organizations to build reliable, scalable, and operable cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and raise the engineering bar through technical leadership.
