Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer to maintain and enhance DAF CLOUDworks for the Air Force Research Lab in Warner Robins, GA.

You will contribute to a rapidly growing secure cloud program with multiple teams spanning security, infrastructure, and cloud migration. Candidates should have active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain TS/SCI, plus strong cloud, IaC, and containerization experience, and excellent communication skills suitable for

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance DAF CLOUDworks capabilities for AFRL.
• Collaborate with distributed teams; communicate project statuses and blockers.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and participate in full life cycle development.
• Apply knowledge of networking, Linux/Windows, and information security concepts.
