Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) seeks a Sr. Principal Chief Engineer in Apopka, FL. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive system design, integration, and test for EO/IR and related platforms, and own program execution from proposal through delivery.

This role requires strong leadership, system-level thinking, and collaboration across sectors. Minimum 8+ years with a Bachelor's in STEM (or 6+ years with a Master’s) and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, EVMS, and workload forecasts.
• Interface with functional departments to secure staffing and resources.
• Write technical specifications, SOWs, design reviews, and capture/proposal activities.
