TYG is partnering with a leading specialist consultancy to hire a Principal / Senior Principal to join its Building Envelope practice in New York. This is a high-visibility leadership role offering the opportunity to shape growth while guiding complex, high-profile building enclosure projects.

The role requires deep expertise in facades, waterproofing, fenestration and roofing, plus strong client relationships and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor future leaders in the NY

Qualifications

• 15+ years in building envelope consulting, design or related field.
• PE, RA or equivalent professional licensure.
• Strong technical expertise in facade and building enclosure systems.
• Proven experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Established client relationships and track record of new business development.
• Experience managing and growing a consulting practice.
• Strong client-facing, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex building envelope projects across new construction, rehabilitation and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with owners, architects, developers and industry partners.
• Drive business development, strategic pursuits and expansion of key client accounts.
• Provide senior technical oversight across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systems.
• Mentor senior technical staff and support future leaders within the practice.
• Help shape business strategy, operational priorities and long term growth initiatives.
• Support the financial performance and continued expansion of the New York practice.
