RTX, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace, seeks a Senior Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer to drive design, development, and integration of advanced digital ASIC/FPGA solutions for next‑generation aerospace and defense applications. Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN, you will lead efforts across requirements, RTL, verification, and system integration to meet mission-critical performance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with extensive experience in ASIC/FPGA design.
• Proficiency in RTL design, VHDL/Verilog, and timing closure.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements and design ASIC/FPGA architectures; RTL development and timing closure.
• Drive tool flow improvements and adopt new methodologies for faster delivery.
• Contribute to technical planning and project estimates for new programs.
• Plan and lead project work, managing scope, schedule and cost.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate activities across teams.
• Collaborate across lifecycle stages to deliver high-performance digital solutions.
