Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Principal Architect for Supply Chain Enterprise Architecture to drive architecture across Demand planning, Design & Orchestration, and Execution domains. The role emphasizes cloud-based integrations, standards, and strategic technology alignment with business objectives.

The candidate will lead architecture efforts, validate technologies, and mentor teams while ensuring governance and scalable architecture across the Order Fulfillment portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field.
• Typically 10–15 years of IT and business/industry work experience including solution architecture, application design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
• At least 3–5 years of system integration and implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture techniques and patterns; ability to guide technical teams.
• Exposure to multiple technologies with techno-functional and business domain knowledge.
• Proven self-starter and ability to lead and drive innovation with AI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of the technical architecture and design across the Order Fulfillment portfolio.
• Develop technology patterns and standards with quality outcomes.
• Perform technology validation and rationalizations to reduce complexity and TCO.
• Establish architectural patterns, viewpoints and organization standards.
• Identify interfaces and business capability needs; address weaknesses and opportunities.
• Enable leaders to balance operational demands with longer-term strategy.
• Mentor staff and transfer knowledge across the organization.
• Provide guidance, roadmaps, patterns, standards and best practices.
