Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Principal Architect for Supply Chain Enterprise Architecture to shape architecture across the DTx OF domain, focusing on design, execution, and demand planning programs. The role requires strong business knowledge in supply chain and pharma services, with expertise in architecture and cross-functional leadership to drive strategic initiatives.

The candidate will mentor teams, define standards, and guide migration to cloud-based architectures while aligning IT strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of IT and business/industry experience including solution architecture and lifecycle management.
• 3–5 years of system integration and implementation experience required.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture techniques and patterns.
• Exposure to multiple technologies with techno-functional business domain knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Self-starter with ability to lead and drive AI initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to present business issues and technical information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of cloud-native design, microservices and event-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of the technical architecture across the Order Fulfillment portfolio with cloud integrations.
• Develop technology patterns, principles, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Validate technologies to improve efficiency, reduce complexity and lower TCO.
• Establish architectural standards, viewpoints, and organizational policies.
• Identify interfaces, capabilities needs, and weaknesses to guide improvements.
• Support executive decision-making balancing operations and long-term vision.
• Mentor and coach staff with knowledge transfer across the organization.
• Provide guidance, roadmaps, patterns, standards and best practices.
