Job summary

JPMorganChase Senior Principal Architect role within Infrastructure Platforms seeks a seasoned leader to influence target-state architecture for the firm’s on-premises compute ecosystem. You will partner with the Chief Architect to set standards, govern architecture and drive modernization across multiple technology domains.

You will oversee architecture strategy, governance forums, and AI-infrastructure evolution while ensuring regulatory compliance and secure, scalable deployment patterns

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in architecture with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience leading large-scale infrastructure or platform architecture programs.
• Deep expertise in on-premises compute, VM lifecycles, and hypervisors.
• Proven ability to govern architecture and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise and lead architecture strategy across multiple tech domains.
• Lead reusable AI governance within architecture workflows.
• Translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Drive zero-trust security models and attestation across workloads.
• Govern architecture reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory alignment.
• Create architecture decision records, reference architectures, standards.
• Establish IaC standards and cross-team alignment without direct authority.
• Lead sovereign and air-gapped deployment architecture considerations.
• Contribute to AI infrastructure architecture evolution including GPUs/DPUs/IPUs.
• Establish guardrails for AI-assisted workflows with traceability.
