Job summary

Teradata seeks a Sr. Principal Architect of Cloud Platform Engineering to steer the evolution of its cloud platform for autonomous AI systems.

You will define multi-cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, implement agentic execution frameworks, and set security-first, cost-aware controls across scalable infrastructure. Lead cross-functional teams, mentor Platform Engineering, DevOps, and SRE professionals, and partner with cloud providers to advance AI-native development at Teradata.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading cloud platform, infrastructure, or SaaS engineering teams at scale.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (serverless, event-driven, agent-driven).
• Hands-on production experience with agentic applications and architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of Teradata's cloud deployment and platform strategy.
• Define long-term cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Drive sub-second API latency, memory management, and cost controls for agentic workloads.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Finance, and AI platform teams to align capabilities.
