Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer to join our Advanced Process Control software support and training team. You will collaborate with customers to resolve technical issues, deliver expert guidance, and provide consultation and trainings on AspenTech APC software such as Aspen DMC3 and Aspen GDOT.

The role involves customer interaction primarily through telephone, emails and remote desktop sharing, with up to 25% travel, including international travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Strong engineering foundation with hands-on control system work.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues and provide expert guidance on AspenTech APC software.
• Deliver training and create training materials.
• Conduct pre-sales consultations and identify customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor teammates.
