Job summary

Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. in Morrisville, NC seeks an Design Lead for Power Management ICs and MCMs to guide architecture definitions and feature sets across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor designers, drive DFT strategy, and oversee analog/mixed-signal design from concept to production, delivering high-performance, low-power PMICs on CMOS/BCD processes. This is a senior technical leadership role emphasizing hands-on lab work and cross-group collaboration.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IC design experience.
• Strong analog and mixed-signal design fundamentals.
• Experience leading design teams and managing projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Power Management ICs and LDMOS/BCD processes.
• Cadence tools proficiency including Virtuoso.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of PMICs and MCMs from concept to production.
• Collaborate with concept engineering, applications, marketing, and PMs to define features, architecture, schedule and cost.
• Mentor designers in mixed-signal design.
• Support DFT strategy and implementation.
• Support production test development and ramp.
• Design areas include precision, low-power analog, A/D & D/A converters, PLLs, high-voltage drivers, and protection circuitry.
• Hands-on lab validation and silicon evaluation.
