Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI systems across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, ML engineers, and software engineers to build scalable, secure AI solutions that align with governance and responsible-AI practices.

You’ll drive strategy, evaluation, and implementation of GenAI, agentic AI, and multimodal workflows, while mentoring practitioners and shaping enterprise roadmaps for AI programs.

Qualifications

• 9+ years implementing ML/AI in production.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for enterprise-scale AI systems spanning data products, retrieval pipelines, model orchestration, and workflows.
• Define secure, scalable cloud-native architectures across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud with modern AI platform services.
• Guide AI strategy across generative, agentic, multimodal NLU/vision and knowledge-based use cases.
• Lead adoption of GenAI and agentic AI including tool calls, memory patterns, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Establish AI evaluation, observability, and reliability standards including latency and cost monitoring.
• Champion Responsible AI, security, governance, and privacy by design practices.
• Mentor cross-functional delivery teams and contribute to business development and thought leadership.
