Job summary

Infosys Consulting seeks a Senior Principal – AI and Data to drive strategic growth across CRL clients, shaping executive relationships and leading transformation programs in AI, data, and enterprise platforms.

You will spearhead AI strategy, data architecture, and the governance framework while partnering with SAP/Oracle/Microsoft ecosystems; travel and senior leadership exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting, advisory, or transformation leadership experience in Consumer Products, Retail, and/or Logistics.
• Proven ability to engage C-suite stakeholders and lead large-scale transformation programs.
• Demonstrated success in business development, executive relationship management, and delivery.
• Deep expertise in AI & Data, Revenue Growth Management, Pricing & Promotion, Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, Customer Experience, Digital Commerce, ERP, or Enterprise Transformation.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive account growth through proactive pitches, business case development, and account mining within existing and target clients, focusing on expanding the process transformation and Data & AI portfolio.
• Identify and originate new AI and data opportunities — including generative AI, agentic AI, advanced analytics, data platform modernization — translating client pain points into sellable solutions.
• Sell and lead large-scale AI and data transformation programs, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract close.
• Partner with account teams and delivery leaders to build a robust AI/data pipeline, shaping deals early and positioning the firm as a strategic partner in the client’s AI journey.
• Develop and pitch viewpoints on emerging AI topics — generative and agentic AI, AI governance and responsible AI, data foundations for AI at scale.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, bringing deep expertise in AI strategy, data architecture, and AI-enabled operating model transformation.
• Lead and oversee delivery of complex, large-scale AI and data transformation programs, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value realization that supports account expansion and repeat business.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that create a pipeline of follow-on AI, business transformation and data work.
• Shape point-of-view and thought leadership around Digital Business Transformation, AI-enabled Operations, and enterprise data strategy, with AI as a core growth pillar.
• Mentor and develop consulting talent with AI/data expertise, building the bench strength needed to support a growing pipeline of work.
