Job summary

RoShay Services seeks a senior CPA and technical accounting expert to lead North America consolidation and reporting, ensuring accurate application of IFRS and U.S. GAAP. You will evaluate complex contracts, guide new business arrangements, and develop technical accounting processes and training for cross-functional teams.

You will support financial close, review reporting results, and assist external audits while coaching the team and ensuring compliance across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting and technical accounting with leadership exposure.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP; experience evaluating complex contracts and business arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and communicate technical accounting guidance; prepare position papers and support implementation of new standards.
• Assess contracts and business arrangements for reporting impacts, partnering with legal, tax, and business teams.
• Enhance accounting processes, controls, and knowledge sharing; create user-friendly materials for various stakeholders.
• Coordinate compliance, update accounting policies, and ensure consistent application of accounting positions.
• Assist in financial consolidation, review reporting results, and support team coaching without direct management duties.
