Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Pricing Senior Manager in California to oversee daily pricing operations, develop proposals, and advise leadership on pricing structures. You will mentor a pricing team, collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements across the pricing function.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial analysis, and experience with pricing models for matter-based work, aiming to optimize profitability and client value.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 8+ years of accounting and financial analysis, including legal pricing.
• Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Project management experience.

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee pricing proposals including modeling, benchmarking, and reporting.
• Analyze fee arrangements to improve client value, efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with client operations on pricing negotiations.
• Support pricing leadership and committees with financial data analysis.
• Coordinate benchmarking data and timelines for annual billing rate strategy.
• Draft pricing language for RFPs and fee renegotiations.
• Partner with BD to align pricing on client proposals.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Stay current on pricing trends and industry benchmarks.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing pricing team.
• Coordinate with Planning, Marketing, and Revenue Management to align operations.
