Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP in Dallas seeks a Pricing Senior Manager to lead the pricing function, supervise day-to-day operations, and mentor pricing professionals while translating the firm’s pricing vision into practice.

You will collaborate with partners, Firm leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop proposals, benchmark rates, and drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience, including pricing in a large professional services environment.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience with coaching and development.
• Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee team members in developing hourly rate and alternative fee arrangement proposals; conduct financial modeling and reporting.
• Analyze fee arrangements to improve client value, efficiency, and profitability; advise partners on pricing structures and negotiations.
• Coordinate with client operations teams on pricing negotiations as appropriate.
• Review fee proposals and financial data for approval processes with Global Practice Leaders and Pricing Committee.
• Support annual billing rate strategy through benchmarking data and stakeholder communication.
• Draft pricing language for RFPs and fee renegotiations; collaborate with Business Development on proposals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and pricing operations efficiency.
• Stay current on pricing trends, tools, and benchmarks to drive innovation.
