Matson Logistics is seeking a Pricing Analyst - Logistics to develop pricing strategies, analyze transportation costs, and support customer opportunities. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, customers, and providers to balance service, efficiency, and profitability while aligning with market conditions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in transportation pricing, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret transportation costs, pricing trends, and market data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related pricing/business systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer bids, pricing proposals, and transportation pricing projects to support growth and profitability.
• Partner with customers and Sales to understand requirements and develop competitive logistics solutions.
• Match shipping needs with Matson service offerings and options to optimize cost and service.
• Analyze rates, market conditions, carrier capacity, and service offerings to support pricing decisions and opportunities.
• Negotiate rates, service agreements, and pricing structures with transportation providers; conduct RFPs.
• Maintain accurate pricing information in spreadsheets and databases; communicate rate changes to stakeholders.
