Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Price Forecasting to lead gross-to-net planning and provide strategic financial insight for immunology price strategies.

You will partner with Marketing, Market Access, and Demand Planning to build accurate forecasts and present key drivers to senior leadership. The role requires 8+ years in finance, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in pharma/biopharma.
• Experience in pricing, forecasting, gross-to-net, or FP&A preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead gross-to-net rebate and discount planning and reporting for annual plans and long-range forecasts.
• Develop accurate forecasts using historical trends, market dynamics, access changes, and business assumptions.
• Analyze price-related variances and communicate forecast drivers clearly to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Copay, and Demand Planning on forecasts and balance sheet implications.
• Prepare concise financial deliverables and recommendations for executive review.
• Assess financial impact of legislative changes and support ad hoc analyses as needed.
