Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced specialist to oversee prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll processes for projects in the region. You will maintain payroll systems, train teams, review subcontractor terms, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

You will manage audits and reporting, coordinate with FCC as needed, and support proposals with accurate prevailing wage language while upholding integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 4 years certified payroll experience or equivalent.
• Construction industry experience preferred and knowledge of prevailing wage policies.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local policy regulations.
• DBRA and related act familiarity; strong integrity and discretion.
• Strong verbal and written communication, professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prevailing wage practices and compliance for projects within the region.
• Maintain wage master list and training programs for project teams.
• Review subcontractor agreements for correct compliance language.
• Coordinate electronic certified payroll systems and reporting.
• Audit records, attend audits, and respond to inquiries.
• Support bidding with proper prevailing wage language in documents.
